Dear Parents

Thank you to all the parents for supporting our learners with sport and schoolwork during this term.

Term Results.

As you can see, our pass rate is 86.6% and our target for 2024 is 98%. The learners who are not meeting the pass requirements must be supported to improve and work hard during Term 2.

Our grade 7 learners need to pull up their sock and do better next term!!

Extra Mural Results.

Athletics:

Three Athletics of our learners took part in the Provincial Athletics Tournament at the University of Limpopo and two of them were selected to take part in the National Tournament during the school holidays.

Ntseba Nkoana was selected for 200MH and 200M.

Tsentle Magana was selected for 75MH and 100M.

Congratulations and good luck to these two athletes, PCS is proud of you.

Debating:

On Saturday 9 March our debating teams took part in a Debating Competition at Mitchell House and obtained Second Place.

Best speakers were: Reginah Mafokwane, Oluchi Okoli and Tadiwanashe Jongoni.

Well done to our debating team.

Chess:

A number of our chess team players took part in the Capricorn Chess Tournament held on 9 March at Northern Academy.

Vun’we Zitha won all five games in the u/12 group and obtained position 1 and received a certificate and gold medal.

Thank you to all the learners taking part in competitions and for the parents who support their children.

SGB Elections.

As you were informed, we received 6 nominations from the parents for SGB election. Those parents were then duly elected as our new SGB for the next 3 years. Congratulations to the following people who will serve on our SGB.

Report Term 1.

The reports for Term 1 will be available from the class teacher on 19 MARCH FROM 12:00 – 14:30. During that time you are welcome to discuss any challenges with your child’s class or subject teachers.

School Closes.

The school and office will close on 20 March 2024 at 12:00 and will re-open on Wednesday 3 April 2024. Enjoy this time with your family and please travel safely on the roads.
